Mr. Michael Ray Gammons

Mr. Michael Ray Gammons Age 46 of Pine Terrace Dr. Mt. Airy passed away Monday night March 10, 2014 at his home. Mr. Gammons was born June 10, 1967 in Guilford County to Ruby Hicks Gammons and the late J. T. "Cotton" Gammons he was a Landscaper and did monument work in the area. Surviving are his wife Rebecca Butcher Gammons of the home one daughter and son-in-law Amanda Gammons and Dustin Wilmoth of Cana, one son Michael Todd Gammons of Mt. Airy two grandchildren Emma Wilmoth and Abagail Wilmoth, his mother and step father Ruby Hicks Gammons Tolnay and her husband Carl of Pinnacle, one brother Timothy Gammons of Pinnacle and his fiancée Sharon McLain of Lexington, niece and nephew Jennifer Gammons and T. C. Gammons, a great niece Kaylee Thomas, his father-in-law and his significant other Ronnie Butcher and Darlene Hunt of Mt. Airy. In addition to his father Mr. Gammons was preceded in death by his grandfather Israel Gammons and his mother-in-law Shelby Butcher. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 15, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Keith Love and Rev. Tony Hutchens with burial to follow in the Woodville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night 6 to 8 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Mr. Gammons wife Rebecca to assist with outstanding bills.
