Mr. Michael Clay "Bull" Inman, age 64 of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Inman was born in Surry County on March 26, 1950 to the late Media Arnold and Delia Agnes Johnson Inman. He retired from N. C. Granite Corp in October 2013 and was a member of Indian Grove Baptist Church. "Bull" was best known throughout the community for coaching softball at Mt. Airy High School as well as umpiring softball and refereeing basketball. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He married Loralee "Lori" Hawn on September 24, 1999 at Central United Methodist Church. Surviving besides his wife are his children, Melissa and Brent Dentiste of Clemmons; Kenneth Inman of Lewisville; Kelly Inman of Mt. Airy; Melynda "Lyndee" and Michael Nance of Advance; Bryan and Angela Ambrose of Clayton; and Kyle and Melanie Ambrose of Reidsville; ten grandchildren, Derrick "D. J."; Christopher; Cameron; Brandon; Nathan; Connor, Jaylen, Jayden, Reagan and Maddox. Also surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Glenda Inman of Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends on Thursday at 12:00 noon at Indian Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall following a private funeral service.
