Mr. Michael Anthony "Mike" Jennings

Mr. Michael Anthony Jennings, 60, of Cana VA passed away Thursday, December 29,2016 at his home. Mr. Jennings was born April 17, 1956 in Patrick County to the late James Franklin and Mary Eaton Jennings. Left to cherish his memories are daughters and sons in-law, Theresa and Gerald France, Ann and Bradley Poindexter, and Tina Ayers; a son Michael Bowman, a brother and sister in-law Donald and Shirley Jennings; as well as seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents Mr. Jennings was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Carolyn Strait Jennings, and a sister Brenda McMillian. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the home of Mr. Jennings with Rev. Samuel Eaton officiating. The family will also receive friends at the home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials to Moody Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1288, Mt. Airy, NC 27030 to assist with the funeral expenses.
