Mr. Omer Samuel Bryant

Mr. Omer Samuel Bryant age 78 of 225 Dan Bryant Road, Pilot Mountain, NC, widower of Mrs. Annie Beck Bryant passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born July 28, 1934 in Surry County to the late Daniel and Vena Hunt Bryant. He was retired from the City of Pilot Mountain and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are a daughter, Ronda Goad and fiance Don Stack, King, NC, four sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Shelby Bryant, Ararat, NC, Ricky and Donna Bryant, Pinnacle, NC, Rex and Mary Bryant, Pilot Mountain, NC, Roy and Teresa Beck, Pilot Mountain, NC, 10 grandchildren and, 6 great grandchildren, two sisters, Geneva Stewart, and Fleta Myers both of Pilot Mountain, NC. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Bryant, and three brothers, Arlis Bryant, Odell Bryant and Clayton Bryant. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Ronald Thomas. Burial will follow in the Whitaker's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at Moody Funeral Service.
