Mr. Omer Glen Lowe

Mr. Omer Glen Lowe, 84 of Lowgap, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 19, 2015. Mr. Lowe was born in Surry County on January 28, 1931 to the late Staley and Eva Cockerham Lowe. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Lowe is survived by his wife, Blanche Norene Richardson Lowe; sons and a daughter-in-law, Tony and Betty Lowe and Mark Lowe, grandchildren, Stephanie Roberts and husband, Richard; Austin Lowe; Amanda Graham and husband, Adwin and Candace Lowe; nine great grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Hawks. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by a brother, Dallas Lowe. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Roaring Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Fisher Gap. The family will receive friends on Monday at Roaring Gap Baptist Church from 3:00 PM until the time of the service.
