Mr. Otis Ayers Craddock

Mr. Otis Ayers Craddock, age 95 of Stuart passed away Thursday at his home. He was born in Patrick County on Jan. 31, 1920 to the late Grover L. Craddock and Myrtle Ayers Craddock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Edith McKamey Craddock; and two brothers, Andrew and Guy Craddock. Mr. Craddock served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII, was a past member of VFW Post 105, was the Owner/Operator of Craddock's General Repair for many years, and was of the Primitive Baptist faith.

Surviving are two daughters and a son in law, Barbara and James D. Boothe of Bassett, Evon Brumberger of Wilmington, DE; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Freddie Bonds officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
