Mr. Page Junior Hudson

Mr. Page Junior Hudson, age 86, of Dobson, NC passed away on Sunday May 4, 2014 unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Surry County on November 5, 1927 to the late John and Beulah Hicks Hudson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Louise Hensley Hudson; a son Jonathan Keith Hudson; a sister Rena Hudson; a brother Garlie Lee Hudson. Mr. Hudson was retired from Hennis Freight Lines with over 30 years of service; He drove a School Bus for Surry County School; he was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and had attended Double Creek Church of Christ with his wife as long as her health would permit. He was a veteran of the US Army have served during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife Mary Bet Mosley Layne Hudson of the home; a daughter Mary Lynne Hudson of the home; Daughter-in-law Martha Adams Hudson of Dobson; a step daughter Ava Bowman of Dobson; four grandchildren Haley Hudson, Kody Hudson, Luke Hudson, and Rylan Page-Wilson Bennett; a step granddaughter Alayne Bowman of Bolivia, NC; two nephews Robert Hudson, Ronald and Sandra Hudson; one nice Linda and Dr. Charles Fontenot. A Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday May 7, 2014 in the Cemetery of Copeland Baptist Church. There will be no formal services held at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, NC.
