Mr. Paul Dean Hawks

Mr. Paul Dean Hawks, 72 of Mt. Airy passed away at his home, Wednesday, March 05, 2014. He was born in Surry County on November 14, 1941 to the late Ezeakiel Lee and Kate Watson Hawks. He retired from Proctor Silex and was a member of First Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his devoted wife, Janice Hamm Hawks; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy Ann and Allen Tackett and son, Mickey Dean and Rebecca Hawks; six grandchildren, Cheyenne Hawks, Monica Hawks, Dakota Rose Hensley, Browdy Tackett, Haley Hawks and Dalton Tackett. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at First Church of the Brethren on Welch Rd, Mt. Airy with Rev. Johnny Hawks and Rev. Jerry Brannock officiating. Burial will follow in the Midkiff Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
