Mr. Posie Maynard Dawson

Mr. Posie Maynard Dawson, 72 of Mt. Airy passed away at his home Saturday, July 5, 2014. He was born in Carroll County, VA on March 14, 1942 to the late Winfred Nelson and Nellie Clementine Tate Dawson. He retired from Henredon Furniture and attended Crooked Oak Moravian Church. Mr. Dawson is survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jack Dawson, Doug and Faye Dawson and Elmer and Sylvia Dawson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dawson was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond, Ted, Kerry, Richard and Junior Dawson. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Crooked Oak Moravian Church in Cana, VA. There will be no formal visitation.
