Mr. Randy Roger Lane

Mr. Randy Roger Lane, 43 of Siloam, NC went to be with his Heavenly Father Friday, May 4, 2012. He was born in Surry County to Judy Hardy and the late Charles Roger Lane. Mr. Lane was co-owner of Lane's Tree Service with his best friend and brother Charles Walter Lane. He was a strong man, devoted father and husband. He loved and cherished his wife and family and always wore a smile regardless of the situation. Left to cherish his loving memory are his devoted wife, Karen Galyean Lane, of the home; his cherished children, Randy "Colt" Lane, Luke Roger Lane, Brooklyn Jean Lane, and August 28, 2012 expected son, Jake Aaron; his loving mother, Judy Hardy Lane Brintle; best big sister, Denise Lane Huffman and husband, Stuart of Siloam; brother, Charles Walter Lane and wife, Alicia of Siloam; several nieces and nephews; brotherly friend, B.C. Brickey of Wilkes, and many special friends. In addition to his father, Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his step father, Max Alton Brintle. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Siloam with Rev. Curtis Ponder officiating. Burial will follow in the Galyean Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Randy Lane Children's Fund, c/o Surrey Bank, 145 N. Renfro St., Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
