Mr. Raul Diosdado “Rudy” Garcia, age 59, of Elkin, NC passed away on Sunday morning after a
automobile accident. He was born in Guanajuato Mexico on December 13, 1955 to Atulina Diosdado
and Eustasio Garcia. He was employed by Vaughn Bassett Furniture in Elkin. Surviving is his wife
Ruth Howard Garcia of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law Mary and Jerry Reed of Bassett, Va
Rosa and Kevin Bowman of Galax, Va; two sons and daughters-in-law Shannon and Patricia Elmore
of Franklin Co. Va, Junior Raul and Chasity Garcia of Elkin; ten grandchildren; mother Atulina Diosdado and father Eustasio Garcia of Mexico; five sisters Rosa Garcia Diosdado, Abigale Garcia
Diosdado, Lusero Garcia Diosdado, Marisol Garcia Diosdado, Anita Garcia Diosdado; four brothers
Joel Garcia, Lalo Garcia, Saul Garcia, Angel Garcia; Special friend Tucan Ramirez. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of his service at 11:00 AM. A Mass and Rosary will be held on Tuesday evening at the Divine Redeemer Catholic Church in Boonville, NC. Burial will be Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in the Garcia Family Cemetery.
