Mr. Ray Edward Norman

Mr. Ray Edward Norman, age 66, of Elkin, NC passed away on Thursday evening May 31, 2012 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Guilford County, NC on July 13, 1945 to the late Lawrence Hickman Norman and the late Viola Brown. He was a disabled Upholsterer from Oak Ridge Manufacturing in High Point, NC. In addition to his parents he was preceded by one son Edward Blake Norman; one brother Larry Norman. Surviving is his wife Joyce Crouse Norman of the home; one son William Curtis "Curt" Norman of the home; two brothers and sisters-in-law Gary and Faye Norman of Elkin, NC, Bobby and Lisa Norman of Jacksonville, Florida. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday June 3, 2012 at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Zane Fishel will conduct the graveside service. There will be no formal services held at the funeral home. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Norman family.
