Mr. Raymond Curtis "Randy" Barnes, 54 of Cana passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital Sunday, April 29, 2012. He was born in Burlington, NC on April 17, 1958 to Turner Junior Moize and Sarah Marie Coleman Barnes. Mr. Barnes served in the U.S. Marines and was employed with Burke Hosiery in Hilderbran, NC. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Edwards Barnes of the home; two daughters, Laura Barnes of Cana, and Rea-Lynn Reinbolt, Austin, TX and a son, Jessie Barnes and fiancée, Brandi Dye of Cana; six grandchildren, Taylor and Coby Leftwich of Cana; Ashley, Gabriel, Alex and Xavier all of Austin TX., parents, Shirley and W.L. Williams of Burlington; birth father and wife, Turner Junior Moize and Betty, Victoria, VA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hattie Marie and Mac Mebane of Burlington, Donna Barnes and friend, Pearlene of Burlington; Diane and Jimmy Wrenn of Snow Cap, NC, Angela and Doug Drum of Raleigh and Leanne Tony of Burlington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Darlene Barnes of Elon, NC, Robert and Lisa Barnes of Hickory, Junior Turner and Kristi Moize, Victoria, VA, Timothy Williams of Burlington and Terry and Tammy Williams of Statesville. Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his birth mother and husband, Sarah Marie Coleman Barnes and husband, Wayne, and a sister, Pam Turner. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Fancy Gap Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Joe Pyle and Rev. Albert Everidge. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors conducted by VFW Memorial Honor Guard Post 2019 of Mt. Airy and 9436 of Pilot Mountain.
