Mr. Richard A. Lovill

Mr. Richard Arlis Lovill, age 76 of Mt. Airy, passed away, Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at his home. Mr. Lovill was born in Surry County on April 7, 1937 to L. L. Lovill and Lila McCreary Lovill. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and well known in the area for his excellent plaster and stucco work. Surviving are a daughter, Robin Slate; sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Linda Lovill, Marty and Cathy Lovill and Tim Lovill; the mother of this children, Betty Slate Lovill; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two on the way; and sisters, Dee Puckett and Nancy Puckett. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lovill was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Lovill. No formal services are planned.
