Mr. Richard Dennis Slagle

Mr. Richard Dennis Slagle, age 60 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on January 6, 1954 to the late Jesse and Christine Baucom Slagle. In addition to his parents, Mr. Slagle was preceded in death by a brother, David Slagle. He had worked as an auto body repairman.
Mr. Slagle is survived by his wife, Connie Lee
Slagle of the home; one son, Richard Alan Slagle of Florida; a step-daughter, Ashley Griffin of Meadows of Dan; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Buddy and Vickie Lee of Charlotte.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Dewayne Troutt officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Richard D. Slagle Memorial Fund, P.O.
