Mr. Robby Mitchell Wilson

Mr. Robby Mitchell Wilson, age 63 of Lowgap, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Baptist Hospital. Mr. Wilson was born in Surry County on January 31, 1949 to Brisco and Nollie Lowe Wilson. He was a loving husband and father who will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Surviving are his devoted wife, Lorraine L. Wilson of the home; a daughter, Lori Wilson of Lowgap; a son, Matthew Cutler of Mt. Airy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Benny Patton of Newport News, VA, Jessie Woodard of Mt. Airy, Nancy and Lewis Melton of Galax; brothers and sister-in-law, John and Jean Wilson of Lowgap and Jerry Wilson also of Lowgap; several nieces and nephews and many special friends and neighbors. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a son, Jody Mitchell Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Russell Parsons and Rev. Clyde Stewart. Burial will follow in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at P. O. Box 468, Lowgap, NC 27024 or to the Lowgap Community Center.
