Mr. Robert Curtis Brammer

Mr. Robert Curtis Brammer, age 83 of Woolwine, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on July 18, 1930 to the late Nelson I. and Hattie Harris Brammer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brammer was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Herbert Brammer. He attended Woolwine United Methodist Church, and had served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Brammer is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy Griffith Brammer of the home; two sons, Keith Brammer and wife, Mary Lou, of Woolwine and Mark Brammer of Arizona; one daughter, Angela Brammer of Martinsville; one grandchild, Brandon Brammer of Cana; two great-grandchildren, Abby and Brainden Brammer; one brother, Ralph E. Brammer and wife, Nancy of Collinsville; one sister, Velda Delois Brammer of Woolwine; one sister-in-law, Frankie Brammer of Woolwine.
Funeral services for Mr. Brammer will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Woolwine United Methodist Church with Pastor Sandy Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Woolwine Cemetery with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, and at other times at the home.
