Mr. Robert Franklin Cook

Mr. Robert Franklin Cook, 72 of Elkin, NC passed away at Hugh Chatham Nursing Center in Elkin on Friday, January 11, 2013. He was born in Surry County, NC to the late Bera Frank and Ruth Wilson Cook on February 8, 1940. Mr. Cook retired from Pineview Restaurant. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Charlean Cook Venable and husband, J.C. of Mt. Airy; a niece, Cara Fields and husband, Larry of Lynchburg, VA; a nephew, Jody Venable of Mt. Airy; three great nieces and a great nephew. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cook was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Cook Devitt. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
