Mr. Robert "Thomas" Holt

Mr. Robert "Thomas" Holt, 69, of Pilot Mountain passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. He was born in Patrick County on April 26, 1945 to the late Jessie and Lillie "Lelia" Holt. After 45 years of service, Mr. Holt retired from S & H Lumber Company as a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife, Dolly Ann Johnson Holt of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy M. Haynes and Joey of Cana, VA, Terri Lynn Fulp and Johnny of Westfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Henderson and Georgia of Madison, AL, Tim and Arlene Nunn of Westfield; grandchildren, Logan Henderson, Luke Henderson, Landon Haynes, Jeremy Nunn, Kiera Nunn, Misty Belton, Josh Fulp, Michael Nunn, and Tasha Nunn; many great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy Slate and Sammy of King, Betty Collins of Pilot Mountain, Mary Holt of Pinnacle, brothers and sisters-in-law, Shirley Holt and Yolanda of Mt. Airy, Junior Goins and Janet of Cana, VA; many nieces and nephews; special family, Randy and Rhonda Stephens, Kathy Hester and all co-workers at S & H Lumber Company. In addition to his parents, Mr. Holt was preceded in death by a son, Tony Nunn. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Isreal Gwyn and the Rev. Ronny Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
