Mr. Robert Alvin Huffman

Mr. Robert Alvin Huffman, age 68, of Dobson, NC passed away on Thursday evening May 3, 2012 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, in Dobson, NC. He was born in Haywood County on January 29, 1944 to the late Zilla and Elizabeth McGinnis Huffman. In addition to his parents He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Mr. Huffman was a retired Welder and worked in the Shipyards. Surviving are his wife Catherine Ritter Huffman of the home; two daughters Zinna “Sissy” Wall of Pinnacle, Robin Huffman of Newport News Va.; two step daughters Cindy Wiles of Winston Salem and Melissa Girod of Ohio; one son Michael Ray Huffman of Wilkesboro; one step son David Edmonds of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters Dorothy Trevathan of Hampton, Va., Sue Dobbins also of Hampton, Va. Their will be no formal services held. And Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Huffman family
