Mr. Robert Lee McGee, Sr

Mr. Robert Lee McGee, Sr., age 76, of Mt. Airy, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at his home. Mr. McGee was born in Surry County on May 21, 1941, to the late Allen Monroe and Nell Norman McGee. After graduating from Wake Forest University with a Master’s Degree, he retired from Wake County School System with twenty five years of dedicated service. Those who will always cherish his memory are his son, Robert McGee, Jr.; a niece, Nicole Bondurant and many, many friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his twin sister, Rachel Bondurant. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the McGee Family Cemetery.
