Mr. Robert "Bobby Moncus

Mr. Robert Wayne "Bobby" Moncus, age 65, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at his son's home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Surry County on January 18, 1949 to Ardena Jarrell and the late Curtis McKinley Moncus. Mr. Moncus was in produce sales with W.R. Vernon Produce. He is survived by a daughter Christian Moncus of Galax, VA; a son, Curtis Moncus of Winston Salem, his mother, Ardene Jarrell Moncus of Mt. Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Sammy Wilson of Mt. Airy. and a "special friend", Imogene Jones of Mt. Airy. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, June 30, 2014 at Skyline Memory Gardens. The service will be conducted by Rev. Randy Johnson. The family will receive friends 12:30 pm Monday until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Winston-Salem Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
