Mr. Robert Graham Wray, Jr

Mr. Robert Graham Wray, Jr., age 72 of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his home. Mr. Wray was born in Surry County on December 6, 1942 to Edith Poff Wray and the late Robert Graham Wray, Sr. He was retired from Insteel Corporation and was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Surviving is his devoted mother, Edith Poff Wray; daughters, Robin Smith and Melissa Lawson a son, Bobby Wray; grandchildren, six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Rosalie McMillian, Rhonda Humphries and Reva Arnder and a very special cousin, May Vipperman. In addition to his father, Mr. Wray was preceded in death by sister Renee Combs and an infant sister. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Westside Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Johnson, Rev. Tommy Nichols and Rev. Darrell Hall. Burial will follow in Midkiff Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
