Mr. Roger Wade Ayers

Mr. Roger Wade Ayers, 81 of Mt. Airy passed away Friday November 11, 2011 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Surry County on December 22, 1929 to the late Nonnie Flynn. He was retired from Quality Mills. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ayers of the home; a daughter, Lisa Turner of Randleman; a son, Richard Dean Kirkman of Dobson. In addition to his mother, Mr. Ayers was preceded in death by a brother, Elmo Ayers. There will not be a formal visitation or service. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy is assisting the Ayers family.
