Mr. Ryan Patrick Stanley

Mr. Ryan Patrick Stanley, age 29, of Clemmons, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. He was born in Surry County on February 13, 1983 to Tony Lynn Stanley and Charlotte Hull Grey. Mr. Stanley was an Electrician employed by Watson Electric and of the Baptist faith. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents Tony Lynn and Abby Stanley of Dobson and William and Charlotte Grey; a sister, Taylor Grey and a brother. William Grey II of the home in Clemmons; a son, Robert Cooper Stanley and Cooper's mother Heather Guden, of Winston-Salem; his loving paternal grandparents, Charles and Shirley Stanley of Dobson; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Benge; two step-sisters,Courtney Martin of Chapel Hill and Sasha Stanley of Pilot Mpuntain; a special aunt, Michele and husband Lincoln Miller of Hamptonville, two special uncles, Mitch and wife Amy Stanley of Dobson and Todd and wife Michele Stanley of Mount Airy and a special friend, Josh Jones. Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, C.W. Hull, Jr.; a very special friend, Adam Marion. Ryan also leaves Charles and Lynn Hull Todd and Melanie Hull and Kim Hull, uncles and aunts, all of Mount Airy. Ryan also leaves Ms. Deanne Poteat, grandmother, of Boonville; Ms. Sheryl Booth, Mrs. Kathy Petras and Melinda Reich, all aunts and uncles who loved Ryan dearly. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at Salem Baptist Church by Dr. Bobby Lewis and Rev. Shane Stanley with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
