Mr. Sammy Dale "Bodie" White

Mr. Sammy Dale “Bodie” White, age 56, of Dobson, NC passed away at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was born in Surry County to the late Billy Sam White and the late Carrie Wood White. He worked in construction and became disabled later in life. He attended Westside Baptist Church when his health permitted. Surviving are his daughter, Heather White of Dobson; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Alisha Beck of Toast; three grandchildren, Caleb Blevins, Wyatt Beck, Maddie Beck; sisters and brother-in-law, Cathy and Charles Snow of Mt. Airy, Julie White of Dobson; brothers and sister-in-law, Mike White of Dobson, Ricky and Mary “Lib” White of Dobson; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Bruce Martin of Dobson. A memorial service will be held by Westside Baptist Church on Tuesday April 18, 2017 after the family receives friends at Westside Baptist Church from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is helping the White Family.
