Mr. Selben W. Snow

Mr. Selben Wilbert Snow age 76 of 148 Freetown Lane, Mt. Airy, NC passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born June 15, 1937 in Surry County, NC to the late Benjamin and Ruby Mosley Snow. He was a self employed sawmill operator and carpenter. Mr. Snow was of the Primitive Baptist Faith and had served his country in the US Army.. Surviving are two daughters , Dr. Regina Watters and husband, Waddell of Yadkinville, NC, Janene Budnik and husband, Charles of Richmond, TX, and estranged wife, Linda Snow, of Mt. Airy, two grandchildren, Michaela Allred and James Allred both of Yadkinville, NC, a sister and brother-in-law, Arista Shelton and David of Greensboro, NC. In addition to his parents, Mr. Snow was preceded in death by a sister, Amy Money. Graveside services will be held 11:00 Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Mosley Family Cemetery. Burial will follow in the Mosley Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at Moody Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017. .
