Mr. Stanley Gray Collins

Mr. Stanley Gray Collins Age 75 of 4123 Flower Gap Road, Cana, VA husband of Mrs. Sylvia Vernon Collins passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1938 in Patrick County, VA to the late Walter McKinley and Ethel Alma Inscore Collins. He had served his country in the US Air Force and was a farmer. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hillsville at Out Of The Box Worship Center. Surviving are his wife, Sylvia V. Collins of the home, a son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Ronnie Gray and Misty Collins, Cana, VA, five grandchildren and spouse, Michael Kevin Payne, Dustin Brian Payne, Michael Christopher and Caitlin Collins, Samuel Gray Collins and Judah Wayne Collins, all of Cana, VA, nine great grandchildren, Alexander Dustin Payne, Seth Gray Payne, Ethan Nicholas Payne, Emberlyn Ann Payne, Gabriel Keith Payne, Christian Xavier Payne, Christopher Gray Collins. Victoria Michelle Collins and Autumn Lynn Collins all of Cana, VA, four sisters and a brothers-in-law, Yvonne Shaver, Nadine and Arnold Dudley, Sue and Robert Dudley and Vickie Dolen all of Charlottesville, VA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Collins was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Collins and a son Stanley Keith Collins. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, June 20. 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Ronnie G. Collins and Rev. Ty Harrison. Burial will follow in the Flower Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 6-9 pm Wednesday at Moody Funeral Home.
