Mr. Stephen Archie "Skip" Sharpe, Jr

Mr. Stephen Archie "Skip" Sharpe, Jr., age 74 of South Boston, and formerly of Patrick County, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Woodview Nursing Home in South Boston. He was born in Patrick County on October 30, 1940 to the late Stephen Archie Sharpe, Sr. and Lillian Joyce Sharpe. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sharpe was preceded in death by a brother, Van Alton Sharpe. He was a lover of beach music and Fairystone Park, an avid Tennessee Vols and Wood Brothers fan, and was a beloved father and grandfather. He had been the manager of Mayo River Seafood and Skipper's Seafood in Stuart, and Flounder Bay in South Boston, and was a master of all things seafood.

Mr. Sharpe is survived by a daughter, Brandee Sharpe Lloyd and her husband, Matthew of South Boston; a son, Matthew Sharpe of Stuart; a granddaughter, Elise Joshlynn Lloyd of South Boston; and one sister, Lynn Stultz of Fort Meyers, Florida.
A visitation will be held Wednesday evening, June 10, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will be private. A celebration of life gathering will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Tailgators Sports Bar and Grill, 4154 Halifax Road, South Boston, Virginia 24592.
