Mr. Thor "Ted" Thisse

Born June 19, 1947 in Tampa, Florida—at home with the Lord, May 14, 2015.

Ted's family included mother Esme, father Al, and sisters Joyce and Pat. He grew up in the Florida countryside and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Technology from LeTourneau College in Longview, TX.

Directly after graduation, he served for seven years as the director of Camp Horizon, a Christian camp ministry in Leesburg, FL. He then transitioned through several engineering positions. After retiring from engineering, he served as Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Stuart, VA.

He loved his Lord, his family, and those around him.
Survivors include his wife of forty-three years, Karen; daughter Beth, son Andy, their spouses and five grandchildren; his sisters Joyce, Pat, and brother-in-law David.

He will be missed.
