Mr. Timothy "Scott" Gwyn

Mr. Timothy "Scott" Gwyn, age 45, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away on Saturday August 16, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Sumter, SC on July 6, 1969 to Kenneth and Carolyn Gillespie Gwyn. Scott was a Rock Mason and loved to fish. Surviving is his parents Kenneth and Carolyn G. Gwyn of the home; a son Corbin Gwyn of Mt. Airy, and the mother of his son Jilene Gwyn also of Mt. Airy; one brother and sister-in-law Kevin and Tia Gwyn of Ararat, NC; two special nieces Karlie Gwyn and McKinley Gwyn. A Memorial service will be held 7:30 P.M. Friday evening at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until time of the service at 7:30 P.M. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials may be to the College Fund for his son Corbin Gwyn C/O Wells Fargo Bank 554 N. Main St. Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
