Mr. Tony Gray D'Amico

Mr. Tony Gray D'Amico, age 74, of Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at his home. Mr. D'Amico was born in Surry County on March 19, 1940 to Marion and Maggie Bobbitt D'Amico. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy and worked at NC Foam. Surviving is his loving of wife of 52 years, Frankie Combs D'Amico; a daughter and son-in-law, Melinda Faye and Ricky Bobbitt; a son, Johnny D'Amico; four grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Angelena and Clyde Bowman, Bonnie and Irby Payne; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Brenda D'Amico, Phillip and Juanita D'Amico; G.B. and Marian Hawks and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. D'Amico was preceded in death by sons, Richard and Anthony D'Amico. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dwight Sechrist. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moody's to assist with funeral expenses.
