Mr. Travis Dean King

Mr. Travis Dean King, age 25 of Lowgap, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Baptist Hospital. Mr. King was born in Surry County on November 11, 1986 to Rita Easter Moore and Mickey Dean King. He was a gentle and kind hearted young man who loved everyone he came into contact with. Surviving is his mother and step father, Rita and Gary Moore of the home; his father, Mickey King of South Carolina; a sister and brother-in-law, Misty and Derek Hollar of Hickory; a step sister, Jennifer Moore; a step brother, Bryson Moore; his maternal grandmother, Shirley King of Cana; his paternal grandfather, Junior Easter of Cana; nieces, Ariana Hollar and Alex Snow; nephews, Caleb Hollar and William Snow and several cousins. Mr. King was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nancy Danely and his paternal grandfather, William King. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Genesis Full Gospel Church by Rev. Lonnie Gunter and Rev. Tommy Vass. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home.
