Mr. Troy Lawrence Gwynn

Mr. Troy Lawrence Gwynn, 35, of Cana, passed away Saturday night, May 27, 2017 at his home. He was born in Surry County on July 13, 1981 to Ralph and Debbie Bowman Gwynn. Troy was a graduate of Carroll County High School and was an avid music collector. He enjoyed talking and meeting with friends to share their collections. Troy was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Emmett Gwynn; and his uncle, Steve Bowman. In addition to his parents, Troy is survived by grandparents, Wade and Ernie Bowman, and Zelma Waddell; several aunts, uncles, cousins and favorite four legged friend, Ginger. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the A.L. Jones Family Cemetery.
