Mr. Victor Alan "Vic" Blevins

Mr. Victor Alan "Vic" Blevins, age 54, of Mt. Airy, NC a loving husband, father, son and brother, an avid fisherman and hunter, Vic loved to do anything with the outdoors. He was born in Mercer County West Virginia on May 29, 1959 to Ann Laverne Lambert Baldwin and to Larry Furches Blevins. He was a sales manager for Granite City Insulation, and was a member of Dobson Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife of 21 years Lisa Ann Atkins Blevins of the home; two daughters Tori Blevins and Tara Blevins; one son Tanner Blevins all of the home; his mother Ann Laverne Lambert Baldwin of Rural Hall, NC; his father Larry Furches Blevins of Tazewell, VA; mother-in-law Annie Needham Atkins of Mt. Airy; brother Larry Blevins Jr. of Rural Hall, NC; cousins Glenn Ball and Steve Ball; life long friend Rodney Conner. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 25th 2014 at New Home Church of Christ with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Brother Ralph Sproles and Brother Tim Smith will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. His body will remain at Moody-Davis Funeral Home until carried to the church to lie in state 30 min. before the services. The family has requested in lieu of flowers a college fund memorial should be made to the State Employees Credit Union, PO Box 1005 Dobson, NC 27017, into the "Special Account" for Victor Blevins
