Mr. Wade Leon Edwards

Mr. Wade Leon Edwards age 63 of Cana, VA, went to be with his heavenly father on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Edwards was born on March 29, 1952 in Carroll County to Jim and Maxine Edwards. Mr. Edwards is survived by his loving wife, Gail Diane “Ann” Cagle Edwards of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Amanda Sproule and Robert, and Stacie Edwards; one granddaughter, Brittany Edwards; four grandsons, Canyon Sproule, Raven Sproule, Dylan Easter, and Alex Edwards; and one great-grandson, Braxton Sawyers; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sue and Nathan Burcham of Cana, and Janice Stevens of Mt. Airy; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bernie Edwards of Lowgap, Dennis and Sue Edwards of Elkin, and Charles and Demeatrice Edwards of Cana. In addition to his parents, Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by a son, Justin Wade Edwards; a grandson, Robert Wade Sproule; a great-granddaughter, Briella Jade Rotenizer; brother-in-law, Robert Stevens; and a sister-in law, Gracie Edwards. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Mt. Airy First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Brain Fraizer and Rev. Albert Everidge officiating, with burial to follow in the Fancy Gap Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1-2 at Mt. Airy First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
