Mr. William Gray Morrison

Mr. William Gray Morrison age 77 of 1318 Venable Road, Pinnacle, NC husband of Mrs. Rita Wright Morrison passed away at his home Wednesday, April 23, 2014. He was born October 21, 1936 in Surry County to the late William Benton and Patsy "Nellie" Nixon Morrison. He was retired from Sprint Telephone Company. Mr. Morrison was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and at Brim's Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Rita W. Morrison of the home, a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Renee and Danny Janey of Pinnacle, a son, Anthony "Tony" Gray Morrison of Pinnacle, four grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Peeples of Pinnacle, Chelsea Marie Peeples of Stuart, VA, Ivy Elizabeth Gibson of Pinnacle, and Kara Morrison Rodriguez and husband Dennis of Pinnacle, a great grandchild, Annaleyce Jade Peeples of Pinnacle. In addition to his parents, Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by a grandson, Anson Gray Morrison. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 25, 2014 at Highland Park Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Dr. Darrell Tate, Rev. Gerald Jones and Rev. Russell Parsons.. The family will receive friends 12:00 noon until time of the service at Highland Park Baptist Church.
