Mr. William Otis Ramey

Mr. William Otis Ramey, age 75 of Mt. Airy, passed away at his home. Mr. Ramey was born in Surry County, July 4, 1935 to Otis and Lillie Mae Estes Ramey. He was retired from Pike Electric. Surviving is a granddaughter, Ashley McPeak and husband, Colin Maguire; a sister, Louise Wall of Ararat, VA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by daughter, Bobbi Ramey a sister Frances Shockley and a brother, Jimmy Ramey. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Robbie Vance. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Skyline Memory Gardens.
