Mr. Xavier Joseph

Mr. Xavier Joseph, age 65 of Ontario Canada, passed away on December 31, 2014. He also has ties to Patrick County. He was born in Kerala, India on November 25, 1949 and immigrated to Canada in 1972. He settled there and built a great life for himself and his family. In 1987 he started a textile business in Stoney Creek, Canada (Narroflex Inc.) which expanded to another manufacturing facility in Stuart, VA, (United Elastics) and numerous locations across North America and Central America. A vibrant, generous, hard-working and brilliant man, he touched the lives of many and helped countless others establish themselves. He will be greatly missed by all.

Mr. Joseph was the beloved husband to Mary (nee Ayyankana) for 37 years, the adored father of Ann (Jeremy), Rose (Jason), Jacob (Nikol) and Maryann, and the cherished "Apappa" to Ava, Aubrie and Oliver. He is also survived by one brother and five sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday January 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. A special thank you to the staff of Pioneer Community Hospital of Patrick as well as the Neuro-ICU ward at Forsyth Medical Center. Donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in his name.
