Mrs. Amber Dawn Hiatt Ward

Mrs. Amber Dawn Hiatt Ward, age 48 of King, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 after a long illness at her home. Mrs. Ward was born in Forsyth County on June 18, 1966 to Vestal Agee and Wilma Jarrell Hiatt. She was a loving wife, daughter and sister who will be sorely missed by her family and many friends. Mrs. Ward was employed most of her career with Baptist Hospital. She loved life, her family, friends and her pets. Surviving are her devoted husband, James Ward; her parents, Agee and Wilma Hiatt of Tobaccoville; brothers and a sister-in-law, Bryan Hiatt and Lee Hiatt both of Tobaccoville and Barry and Edwina Hiatt of Winston-Salem and five nephews and a niece. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Zona Jarrell and Vestal and Blanche Hiatt. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy.
