Mrs. Annie Mae Moser Pyles, age 100 of North Wilkesboro, NC passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Hillsville Rehabilitation & Health Care in Hillsville, VA. She was born in Surry County on May 15, 1916 to the late Albert Moser and the late Minnie Pike Moser Wrenn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Oliver Pyles; sisters Florence Moser Taylor, Betty Lorene Moser McHone; brothers Ab Moser, Gurney Moser, Charlie Moser, Marvin Moser, Roy Wrenn; nephew Ronnie McHone. Surviving are special niece Pam McHone of N. Wilkesboro; niece-in-law Sharon McHone of Mt. Airy; special nephews Billy Mc Hone of Dobson, Gary McHone of Mt. Airy, Stevie McHone of Mt. Airy; several other nieces and nephews; a very special friend and caregiver Lisa Belton of North Wilkesboro; special friends Marvin and Betty Blackburn, Eddie Foster, Dallie Lackey. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM March 9th, 2017 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial in the Dobson City Cemetery. Rev. Joel Blevins and Rev. Marvin Blackburn will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of her service at 2:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
