Mrs. Audene Ida Moxley

Mrs. Audene Ida Moxley, 86, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015, at her home. She was born in Surry County on May 20, 1929 to Wiley Mac Garnie and Electra Levora Lowe Moxley. Mrs. Moxley was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was a homemaker. She is survived by four sons and daughters in law, William Harold Moxley and Molly, Rodney Carl Moxley and Brenda, Thomas Richard Moxley, and Randle Dean Moxley and Bobbie; seven grandchildren, William Hunter Moxley, Justin Clay Moxley, Thomas Richard Moxley Jr., Carolyn Michelle Cavett, Blake Nathaniel Moxley, Dylan Jade Moxley, and Andrew James Moxley; two great-grandchildern, Hunter Annyce Moxley and Payson Lee Cavett; three sisters, Pauline Puckett, Lorene Hooker, and Eva Jean Smith, and a sister in law, Margaret Moxley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moxley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Edward Moxley and brother Eugene Moxley. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Rusty Reed. Burial will follow in the Ivy Green Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to any Hospice organization in Mrs. Moxley's memory.
