Mrs. Barbara Elois Wagoner Peele

Mrs. Barbara Elois Wagoner Peele, age 70, of Pilot Mountain, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017, at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Peele was born in Surry County on July 27, 1947, to William Randal and Geraldine Miller Wagoner. She was a loving wife, mother, and “nana” who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends. Among those who will always cherish her memory are her husband, Clyde Peele; daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Darrell Weatherford, Amy and Jason Harpe, and Holly and Josh Shields; her precious grandchildren, Rachel, Cassidy, Whitman, Gabriel, Boone, Aidan, and Roscoe; her parents, William and Geraldine Wagoner; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Joe Sammons; a brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Marsha Wagoner; nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many dear friends. Mrs. Peele was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Wagoner. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Terry Johnson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and immediately following the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
