Mrs. Barbara Ann Hardy Poindexter

Mrs. Barbara Ann Hardy Poindexter, age 73, of Thomasville passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. She was born in Surry County on August 12, 1940 to the late Archie and Eula Key Hardy. Mrs. Poindexter was a self employed Merchant and well known for her beautiful artwork and poetry. Survivors include her loving children, Sandra Laney, Karen and husband Timothy Vogler, Beverly and husband Mark Bauman and Jennifer Brinkman; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, a sister, Jeanene and husband Jim Terry; and her best friend "Sugar". A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, April 19, 2014 in Mount Herman Baptist church cemetery.
