Mrs. Beatrice Fowler Anthony

Mrs. Beatrice Fowler Anthony, age 86, of Dobson, NC passed away on Monday January 19, 2015 at the Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Surry County on November 8, 1928 to the late Earnest Lee Fowler and the late Lula Adeline Cave Fowler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Dearing Anthony; son Jesse Roger Anthony; sister Mary Ruth Fowler; brother Windell Fowler. She was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Tultex and Dollar General. Surviving are her three daughters and sons-in-law Patricia and Delmar Cave of Dobson, Margaret and Gale Ross of Mt. Airy, Carol and Tony Hutchins of Mt. Airy; five grandchildren Teresa and Craig Key, Pamela Hyatt, Allan Watson, Brian Anthony, Kirby Anthony; six great grandchildren Jesse Key, Katlyn Anthony, Ava Key, Reece Watson, Levi Hyatt, Abagil Hyatt; four sisters Agnes White, of Dobson, Emma Lou Gwyn of Michigan, Arlene Davis of Dobson, Clarine Calhoun of Dobson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday January 22, 2015 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jason Johnson and Rev. Craig Key will conduct the services. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening January 21, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson.
