Mrs. Bertha "Louise" Faw Vaughn

Mrs. Bertha “Louise” Faw Vaughn, 79, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born in Surry County on November 3, 1937 to the late William Euriah and Mittie Ann Jarrell Faw. Mrs. Vaughn was owner-operator of Vaughn Grocery, and was a member of Mt. Airy Church of God. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Robin Hull and Jimmy, Kim Webb and Roger all of Mt. Airy; son, Jess Vaughn ; grandchildren, Tyler Hull, Jesse Vaughn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby Uldrick and Jim, Rachel Puckett and William all of Mt. Airy; a brother and sisters-in-law, Dennis Faw and Ann, Betty Jo Faw all of Mt. Airy; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Lee Vaughn; an infant daughter, Tayne Lynn Vaughn; brothers, Herbert Faw, and Paul Faw. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Deward Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline memory Gardens.
