Mrs. Betty Coe Perkins

Mrs. Betty Coe Perkins, age 89, of Dobson, NC passed away at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Wednesday, October 7, 2015. She was born in Surry County on January 27, 1926 to the late Ernest Cleveland Coe and Eliza Mooney Coe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Victor Coe. Mrs. Perkins was a homemaker and a member of Stony Knoll United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Arthur James Perkins of the home: two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Archer Perkins of Dobson and Randy and Rhonda Perkins of Raleigh; grandchildren, Emily Fulk, Kelly Perkins and Jordan Perkins and two great grandchildren; Madison and Alivia.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson. The funeral will be Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Stony Knoll United Methodist Church with Reverend Jimmy Lawton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Building Fund, in c/o Kay Crouse, 105 Stratford Place, Dobson, NC 2707.
