Mrs. Brenda Gail Poteat Allen

Mrs. Brenda Gail Poteat Allen age 60 of 652 Southern Road, Mt. Airy, NC wife of Mr. Ronnie Allen passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1954 in Pike County, KY to the late William and Elizabeth Flannery Poteat. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Allen of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and John Bryant of Mt. Airy and Jeanie and Marty Prevette of Mt. Airy. two special grandchildren, Isabella Raine Prevette and Mason Gage Prevette, both of Mt. Airy, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Larry Conner of Mt. Airy, Shirley and Jay Hawks of Ashville, and Mary and Warren Beasley of Mt. Airy, and a brother, Alvin Poteat of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by three sisters, Oma Bryant, Lillian Chandler and Diane Edwards and a brother, Richard Poteat. Heaven got a true angel when he got our very special mother. We will love and miss you always. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 13, 2015 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Dwight Sechrist. Burial will follow in the Indian Grove Family Cemetery.
