Mrs. Cathy Holder DeHart

Mrs. Cathy Holder DeHart, age 71, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born August 19, 1946 to the late Samuel Chester and Ola Dobson Holder. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Sammy DeHart of the home, a son, James DeHart; a daughter, Sarah DeHart; two grandchildren Sparrow and Samuel Krantz; a sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Charles Woodson; a sister-in-law, Margaritta Holder. In addition to her parents Mrs. DeHart was preceded in death by her brother Sammy Holder. A funeral service will be held at, Moody Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 with services conducted by the Rev. Butch Holder. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
