Mrs. Charlotte Lee Rayfield Jones, 91, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Jones was born September 16, 1923, in Portsmouth, VA the daughter of the late John Henry and Lillian Rayfield. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Max Hunter, and Camille and Bill Simons; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Tammy Jones, and Craig and Lynne Jones; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at Sturtevant Funeral Home on Sunday May 31, 2015, at 2:00 PM in Portsmouth, VA.
